It makes the truck less military more custom. Painting cherry is a sin so i couldnt paint it. Oak would nice with a light stain.

I wish my deuce would do 80 at least it could cruise at 65mph comfortably.

I hope so too its made for a deck I guess poly was the wrong word. Its clear sealant made by olympic. If it darkens some Im ok with that. It is getting mildew like black stuff on it. That sucks..

Old troop seat and new headboard

Cherry with clean poly on it. The head board and pass side is finished. Now for the drivers side. Troop seats are heavy when the wood isnt all rotted and mostly gone.

I noticed alot of the forums google finds are old posts that wont come up anymore.

I also have a isuzu npr that weighed 7800 empty i put 12200 in the bed it handled it better than my deuce which weighed 13060 with me in it and i put 7800 in it.

I have the same problem my cap is plastic. I cant drill and tap it.

2 grand is alot for headlights I agree. I have a three year old I rarely am out after 9 pm. My truck could have no headlights at all I never drive at night. Either way LED headlights look great!! Oreillys have some new 7 inch leds I thought about trying.

Im using clear poly. My father in law works at a custom wood milling shop. I got the cherry for free and custom milled to the exact size of factory wood. Its still a long project.
