Use of the bridge plate is also mentioned in the above TB.
Mostly designed for use in Europe on "ify" bridges that were in existance in the 1940's but sitll mandated today.
When they shut down and park they are offset together to the right side of the windshield to the full travel mark and they should both be the same.
My M35A2C was also restrofitted with them before it's decomision and sale to me in 2007.
I have not been able to find much information on them but I...
That like telling you that you must have turn signals and a 2nd tail light on a CJ2A Jeep or a Model A Car. If it passed DOT in that year then it is good to go.
jimm1009
THIS DEPENDS ON WHAT VERSION OF TAIL LIGHT THAT YOU HAVE (AND FWD. PARKING LIGHT)
The 2nd and 3rd generation have a total of four light bulbs installed. (4th generation is a complete LED assy. and is not included here).
The upper bulb #623 is the tail light. The 2nd bulb down #1683 and in the...
I was told that the D series (CUCV) used the 350 motor mounts for some reason only known by Uncle Sam.
I went to purchase genuine GM motor mounts one day by application and they would not work.
When I found the p/n that was used in the military TM they told me that that number was for a gas 350...
hub problems
If I need one that $75 for the hub and spindle is a steal.
I purchased one from O'rielly's with a life time warranty for $60.00 but that was about 7 years ago.
I don't know about the pricing now days.

Markings?
Most CUCV's don't have Door Markings unless they are Marine or Navy units.
What sort of markings are you referring too?
In the mean time, the standard unit markings, etc. are shown in the TB for painting and repainting the CUCV series trucks and it is available in the resoruces...
kent tool
Every stud that I've ever seen is marked with an R or an L on the tip.
As most know, the design theory is the left side studs are l/h thread and the right side studs are r/h threads.
While you are standing just to the side facing the wheel, look down at the threads on the stud. If...
O.K., What size 22.5 tire is the same as the 9:00 x 20 with repsect to the O.D.?
And what compares to the 11:00 X 20 tire whcih is better for on the road?
Thanks,
Jim
Perhaps it can be done through the mail rather than taking a day off of work.
I would call them and have them send you a list of items required via e-mail and then send it all in with a copy of the e-mail.
Just my 1.7 cents worth but it should work as almost any state can do this business by...
It depends on if you want to sell them to someone else who may want to register them or if you want to register them.
If they were being diassembled for parts and never to be driven on the road then NO.
Most states will not title them without an SF-97 which is the starting point for the title...
A deuce VIN is not really a VIN but a serial number in stead.
It should like this example; 0254-12367
This is the whole serial number but you may have one that has the registration number in the same line with a couple of spaces between.
An example of a registration number is NKO4J4.
jimm1009
This is true but what if you needed to sell one quick for one reason or another.
You would not get any out of state buyers to bite without a title.
Food for thought but if your state says it is o.k. like that thenI say do what is right for you at this time.
My 1.7 cents worth.
Good luck &...
They look plenty "installed" to me! Ur, I mean yes can we see the glass installed?
I would like to replace my glass too since both of them have imbedded steel and that is a little rought on wiper blades.

pic as requested
Well o.k., but only because you asked.
 :-D
Hope this was the correct pic since I had none of the seal itself.

Seriously though, my windshields were both burned by welding on the cowl area by Uncle Sam and they were not protected so if part...
more info on oil levels
Actually, to quote the PS Magazine, the first knuckle is more correct although the 2nd is not bad either.
Go to the old S.S. site and then go to resources, and then to the PS Magazine link and then go to the one titled "1 1/2 ton - know your truck.
This is a lot of good...
