Wait, if there are old registration cards, then there is a title. Sounds like the previous owner needs to apply for a lost title.

Look in my thread. There is a solenoid connected to that 2 pin port that needs power in order to open to allow power flow. In the MRAP, it was provided via the master power switch that had a port specifically for that.
Open the box, remove the solenoid and reconnect (I added pics to my thread)...
Ok all-
I had issues with my M715 and @G744 was kind enough to teach me how to test the Pertronix electronic ignition module I put in.
(It was in a box in the truck when I bought it, so I don't know if it had been used prior).
(Also, the power wire from my battery is black, so pay the color...
Also, @G744 gave me a GREAT test procedure for the module to determine whether its coil or module. I'm setting up the parts I need and may post a thread on it.

Yesterday driving along at 55 yesterday, she backfired twice and died.
I have checked fuel system, all good.
Today i dug into the ignition system, heres what I've done:
Checked power to the distributor, healthy 24v. Checked resistance of the coil- 5.6 ohms. No spark at the plugs.
