13Mike adapter plates are great art work I got my set last week and sand blasted them and metal prep for Epox and heat bake them.

CPAPPY the Ureathane one hold up better than vinyl
the vinyl is good if you are doing an resto job for car show's.
Ureathane has UV protection as vinyl dont.

1 the best gear you will get in an 14t gm is 3.73 with D60 if you use an D70 rear you can get 3.54 in both config just rember the cummins does not turn as much rpm as GM 6.2L

4bta at 120 hp and 325 fp lbs tork it has more tork than 6.2L and has turbo on it look for water jacked after cooler.

AS I your post the the rear axle on M1028 has a detroit locker as I know if you have an problem on one side you could not move the other side at all both wheel will move in the same rotation eather way if one spin and the other does not spin you have internal problems in the diff as for brakes...
