I used to run GL-1 in my tranny/xfer case and GL-5 in the the diffy's, but now I run GL-5 MT1 in the whole shootin match.

FWIW - While the dealer I bought my muffler from said it was a Flowmaster resonator, it looks more like a Dynomax race series muffler to me. See the link below http://www.dynomax.com/products/raceseries.html

Welcome slotnickj! BTW - I was watching that M109A3 and the 3KW Diesel Generator. The lathe and other tools in the back of the M109A3 would have been a nice bonus.

I get my GL1 from Napa. They also sell a GL5 with a MT-1 rating which is safe for use in the 3053A.

I used to have a 1947 Oshkosh W series plow truck with a Hercules RXC. IIRC - It was about 529 cu in and ran real good. Did your truck orignally have an RXC? Nice trucks!

The 5 ton wheels have a different lug pattern than the deuce, so they will not work unless you are going to do some serious modifications.

Can anyone give me the specs on the startng batteries for my MEP-002A? The PO installed some batteries that are smaller than the battery tray and seem to lack the CCAs to reliably start the genset. Thank you, Chris OD_Coyote
