It is not water proof. I have many seals and gaskets to replace. The Wisconsin water is cooling off now. This is my winter project now. Time for research and repairs.

I just removed the fording cap from inside the cab and replaced it under the hood. Noise is really not an issue.

My leak was somewhere between the gasket, shim plate, and gasket. Turned out to be a real stinker. I believe there may be different thickness shims to compensate, but I did not have them. Do you have a kit or are you re-using old? You need new gaskets, period. make sure the gashets are imprinted...

If you want to part with the original, I may be interested depending on price???
