These are really over engineered ! a couple of friends bought YA328 and one YA126 the one fellow got the mutt on the back !

Only know about two DAF YA 314s in Canada one near Ottawa and mine !

In great shape, no rust everything works and has a directional winch ,only 126 had winchs

Actually ,your in luck .Time Line Event in Fort George ,Niagara-on-the-Lake .July 18th and 19th all kinds of military vehicals from all over will be there !

Being a museum vehical she doesn,t get enough driving ! each guy in the museum is given a vehical to kit out ,maintain, drive and show ! I think I have just sunk five grand on just external kit for the outside of her !:wink:

I was under the impression that MLVW ,s could be registered as commercial vehicals !

The Abbott I drive gets 4miles to the gallon ! and top speed is 40 miles /hour!

It looks almost identical to a Canadian Grizzly !

The museum has one of five prototype iltis,s its had 100 hrs. of restoration work done to it and it runs great ! awsome little beast!

I work with Linc and Weld at the museum!and Our APC,s are on loan from the War Museum in Ottawa!As a matter of fact if DND needed these APCs for service we would have to give them back!
