i too would not spend the time teaching someone to drive, maintain or repair anything they were buying from me... if you gave them a 20 minute course on how to drive it, would you feel any better about their 200 mile trip home? in this ambulance...
using that part#, which ironically does not show up on napa's website, and google, i wound up back at ss.com to a thread from 3yrs ago...

GL doesn't suck... you're just taking your chances... I got two deuces for a great price... both are runners but both need work... you will read about guys who bid without previewing and wind up with a little bit of forklift love and a damaged drive shaft or oil pan... you will read about guys...
i won a deuce from gl with winch for $1800. soft top, heater, "no brakes" painted on the door. upon recovery the deuce needed new batteries and some fluids... after that she started fine and i drover her 200miles home... i did the basic pm to get it home, but have yet to tear the truck apart...
i was on the rock at mcas futenma 90-91... 1st LAAD Bn (death from below)... what a crap hole futenma was...
