How did you flush out all the old oil, before filling it with Dex fluid

Resistor has been bypassed, that doesn't affect anything except 24 to 12 volt glow plugs, that's not the issue

Think I'll stick to CUCV's after seeing this post, I think I would just sit in the cab and drink if it broke down.

Without going back and reading the beginning, If it does not have the manual glow plug button installed you need to make sure the glow plug controller card is in it or it wonk crank.

Columbo, boy you must be Inspector Cluso. I'm Sure you never missed anything at all by the sounds of your response, As I stated before after adding the fluid it showed FULL on the dipstick. Don't have a clue why some people have only negative attitudes in responses.

Well how do you figure doghead, it was failed sabotage. Anybody that would take out a filter and pickup up tube and then pack the pan with the rags, whats the reason for doing something like that.

OK, All is good to go with the transmission. Put the filler tube and new filter in, 3 gallons on Dextron III and it works. Thanks to everyone with ideas, sometimes its the easiest things staring you in the face and you don't realize it until someone says "Hey Dummy what about".
