old one out, new one in. not sure about the driveshafts if the lengths change. However, the front axle hubs on the m880 do not unlock so you will still be turning the diff there just won't be power applied to it.
I have a 1976 M880 and I'm trying to come up with a functional spare tire mount w/o having a tire sliding around in the bed. I have a HMMWV spare tire mount but I just can't see how to mount it so I could lower the tail gate.
Any thoughts, pics or ideas would be great.
I got my hands on some UPS truck wheels that are 6 lug 22.5 and mounted 11R 22.5 Tires I got from a school bus. Great tires, not to aggressive and easy to find
I'm selling my house so i used mine to clear the crap out of my yard for the photographer. Now when I say crap, I don't mean stuff. I mean crap! It would rather have a dumpster dropped off and just filled it up. I the plus side, it showed my wife that the deuce was a good investment. :)
Does your school have a auto or welding class? If so, talk to the teacher and tell him what you want to do and do the research to find out everything about a deuce and what it takes to bob it. I'm a shop teacher and I took mine to school and my students bobbed it. Lots of supervision but it turn...
