If you have and trucking companies around you see if they could sell you an old mudflap. I know my company goes through them left and right. Some hard plastic some the thick rubber. A torn one should be long enough to make a new one for your purposes.

I'm sure your local radiator shop could order them for you.

I scrubbed them with a brass wire brush, I wanted something strong and soft,but not to strong to poke holes. I then power washed and it did the trick. I should've rodded it,but didn't.

I bought a roll of 36 inch by 18 inch by 1/8 inch cork gasket and traced the end caps then used a half inch hole punch whole thing cost maybe 8 bucks

TMNT, I did all the electrical tests and everything checks out.I will try to hook up my compressor and check the original horns. Which brings me to my next question. Can the horns that don't have the screws on the back be adjusted?

Yes sir, I replaced the box at the bottom of the steering column, the ground, and the column itself!

I've even replaced the horns!

I actually did follow all the TM's to the letter. I found the problem ( by testing) ,put back together and no joy! Time and time again, So that's why I'm just going to keep throwing cash at it!
