    Inner Door date

Inner Door Plate The date is the date of the last painting. CARC is Chemical Agent Resistant Coating. Don't sand on this stuff without lung and face protection. The people that spray this are supposed to use air suits...bad stuff when inhaled. No doubt that many others will tell you the same...

My main legs are 41.5 inches long (tube portion only) and are 2.250 inches in outside diameter. I want to intall the MWO collars and was wondering inf any has done this by civy parts or if the...

    Invoice versuses Bill-of-sale

Invoice versus Bill-of-sale I agree with the fellow MVers here. I will use the invoice marked paid. This will be my "bill of sale" and go from there. Fingers crossed! Thanks to all, Jim

    Invoice versuses Bill-of-sale

Invoice versus Bill-of-sale I talked with G.L. "Live Chat" and they said getting a bill of sale is no problem but it will cost me $25.00 and I have to wait for it. They won't fax or e-mail it to me. I was under the impression that they were required to give you a bill of sale for any item...

    Relief Driver!!

Relief Driver Start'em off young and they will be ready to step into our shoes when we are too old to wear them (drive them) and they can drive us around then. Train them well and teach them to love the O.D.Green stuff. Teach them how to toot the horn in moderation so as not to bleed off the...

    Invoice versuses Bill-of-sale

For a first timer since G.L. was in play, I have a question. After the EUC is cleared through Battle Creek, how long does it take to get invoiced and once the invoice is paid, how long and where do yiou get the bill of sale? The reason that I ask is that I can not get a transit plate (paper tag)...

    M35A1 or A2 bed

Thanks again Kenny. I will plan on 2100 lbs. + a little extra to be safe. I thought it would be more but that is good. I have enough hoist for 3000 lbs. so I will be o.k. Jim

    M35A1 or A2 bed

Does anyone know approximately how much a non-dropside bed weighes? I need to remove my bed for a few days to do some work on the rear lower cab area and re-paint too. I can drive the truck out from underneath the bed but not sure if I have the "right stuff" for the job. Thanks, Jim

    Deuce questions from PA

Reading is Fundamental. I did not notice the "Commercial" part and hereby stand corrected. I should not be "surfing" without the first cup of coffee. Thanks Kenny. Question though...Are there not some older Commercial trucks still running that don't have the parking lights on all the time? I...

    Deuce questions from PA

I don't live in your state but I strongly disagree with the parking lights being on requirment. Since these are made to a mil-spec and not DOT things are slightly "gray" but there are a lot of vehicles on the road that do not have parking lights and headlights on at the same time. Two examples...

    TM question

Much thanks Dave. I might buy the TM but I having a hard time with the $ price tag. Older is usually better! Jim

    TM question

I found a TM for sale. 9-2320-209-35. Described as "Depot Level" for our trucks but the older version dated June 1965. I thought that the 209-34 was Depot level but it seems to be missing some information too. 209-34 doesn't seem to be the in-depth level that a contractor or Government...

    Wait time

Does anyone know what the average wait time is once a EUC is cleared? I was curious to see how much longer it may be now that my form has passed the screeners and it going north to Michigan. Thanks, Jim

    Hub socket

I understand the socket for the front hub nuts is 3 inch. Anyone have a a line on the socket designed for this? I know that SnapOn and Mac have it but don't need it that bad. There should be a manufacturer for the thin wall ones similar for use with the older M38 and CJ series jeeps. Thanks...

    air cleaner question

Air cleaner question I think that is a really sexy idea myself. Can't wait to see the pictures. In the mean time, does your "O.D. Machine" have a muffler installed as suggested by serveral owners in this forum? I would like to combine the NAPA muffler and your unique style of intake...
