oh and another thing you can do when you get the new xfer case is put a j pipe where the filler hole is on the xfer case maybe a 1.5" pipe and that way you can have more fluid in the case as there isn't much in there for such a big xfer case... just my 2cents. I wish i did when I had mine all...
jatonka is completely right... however the drive lines are different when comparing from multi fuel to cummins... My donor truck was a 50 series and so just swapped drivelines and she works...
ahh this sounds soo familiar :-/ :-) unfortunately the best thing to do is replace it and when you do so make sure, if using a helper, they hook up the air shift lines correctly or else you'll have even more head aches like I had to go through...

round tube is much stronger than square. also dead lift weight is different than impact weight and shock weight... You are dealing with two complete different types of forces. You may be able to lift 40000lbs of dead weight but at impact may only hold 30000olbs. Working for a steel company...
haha sounds so familiar... i just ran into this problem the other day. I was breaking down tires off the old cucv and one of the tires just came off so easy... :-) i was a 16.5 tire on a 16 rim, dont know how they ever got it to stay on there and so glad I never drove the truck with it like...

I see a water tank in back ground... put that on there so that you can hose all the girls down on a nice summer day in their white tanks :-) Thats what we'd do at our school or at least try. :-) Fire hoses and girls in turn outs is such a view!

Batteries having decent voltage doesn't mean everything... you need cranking power. Put a tester on them and check them. Or you can also put other batteries in there. If there isn't enough power being supplied on the 5tons the solenoid will not open. Also the plunger on the solenoid could be...
