Equil does not work well when moisture is introduced to the tire. It allows the Equal powder to clump up instead of evenly distribute. I dont think you will have sucess with golf balls, not to mention that at high speed and longer run times the balls will deteriorate the inner line of the tire...
Tubes dont tend to work very well because the stem and the hole in the wheel do not line up very well. What happens is the torque on tire and tubeeither chaffes or tears a small hole where the vavle stem is causing a flat, or worse running low and blowing up the tire. O rings are cheep! Buy...
A little thicker O ring would make all the difference in the world. I could see laying a little RTV in the grouve so that it would hold the O ring and make it stick out a little better. Or maybe use some slip tac on the O ring to help it seal.
I just looked up where Little Fort BC is. Canadians get dinnged pretty good on duties and shipping to way past Kamloops is gona be spendy for sure. Legalities aside making your own supersingle wheel would likely be the cheapest. I bet you can find the chassie wheels for cheep $20-40 ea...
There are 2 keys to making patches stick to tires that have the antifreeze mix in them. Use good Glue! The Rema Tip Top brand blue glue works great and will bond nearly any rubber surface. The second is the affected area need proper prepping. It is much harder to do a good job in the feild than...
The "grease" is strange stuff for sure. If i were to try and get it all out I would scrape as much out as i could then take dawn dish soap and HOT water and add it to the tire and roll it around, let it sit then roll around some more. Its not really a grease and partially water soluble.
What...
This design is currently In Use for farm use. I think the best way to do it is to plama torch the chassis wheel to the correct width, line up the tube slot and weld it up. You should be able to find the wheels pretty cheap. The tubes and flaps may rum. $50-75 ea. Hope this DYI budget idea helps...
If it were me, I would find some 20" California, demountable, chassis wheels and weld the rim up like in the picture. If you take your time you could make the suppoerts curved so that thwy would not interfear with the hub so that you could run them with the modifications facing the truck. It...
Keeping inmind the OP I think the 5.9 and its smaller brother are the way to start off. External parts on the Cummins motors are interchangeable (mostly) and have been used in everything from PU trucks, heavy equiptment to Gen sets. There are currely people using these motors to repower jeeps...
I Cannot speak directly to the kind of wheel you have. I have seen tubes used in 1400R20 on the 10 hole bolt together wheels with mixed results in comercial use. The correct kind of valve is necessary, and if the hole for the stem to come out of the wheel is not dead center it will stress the...

I was trying to repost some information regaurding some of the Wa state laws on Collector plates and it kept loggin me out. i finaly figured out I had to cut and past on a notepad to organise it then make one cut and past to the reply.
Is there a reason for this? Can this be fixed. It was just...
