Much more of the same old boring edge sanding and looking over the entire main structure inch by inch to make sure no loose rough edges. Hand sanding with 220 and getting ready to seal and paint all the edges and exterior firewall. The doors are already for interior/edge painting...

I think you may like this price and warranty.
Me I like warranted parts. I never had a issues with Autozone/NAPA? Mom and Pops auto parts. If the parts fit and come with a warranty I buy them. NOS parts not so quick on things with seals. Quick story. I had a case of spigots the frost free type with the long stem and seat on the valves. I...
Take a socket get it partially started on the alternator pulley and turn the alternator nut/pulley clock wise and it will slip right on. Adjust from there and all will be well. No hidden bolts on Gen 1 or Gen 2. Unless I have been doing it wrong since 1983. Possible.
I removed the one pictured from a 1990 GMC Jimmy with a 350EFI / 700R combo. The bolt holes are threaded in the NP 208 transfer case. I think M16 metric thread.
I beg to differ on the towing capability of the M1009. I used my Crown of Thorns M1009 for 20 years the hard way. I tore down a house with an M1009. It never quit. I sold it a few months ago. That is a very capable vehicle if care and common sense are applied when towing is taking place. And...
I think that is the power steering pivot adjustment nut you have pictured. And what about that bolt hole in the water pump. Not sure if that is normal. I would have to look. But if that was vibrating the back side of that bracket will have a hex worn into it. I would remove the bracket and fix...

This will get you on your way. No brushing Rusfre. It would be...
Tonight was the night. I primed the areas on the doors and the body structure that had body work done to it. That is going to need sanded and then I want to seal the edges and edge paint everything so I can store it and get the frame and chassis back together. Work tomorrow and the rain should...
I thought it went by color. What color is the wire/link. Orange? That comes to mind. I hope that helps. There is Blue at other places. I buy the replacement links from the HELP rack and install them with heat shrink butt connectors. Good Luck.
With any Luck at all I will get the super structure primed and pushed back in the corner over the weekend. I need to get the frame reassembled. I have 4 stock steel wheels and tires from my 2014 Silverado 1500 I am trading in. They are 17 inch wheels. They will work to get the chassis assembled...
Is it spitting thru the intake? First thing I would do is remove the intake. That will give you a bird eye view of the intake valve. The exhaust manifold should be a breeze if the engine was rebuilt 2 years ago. I take original ones apart with hand tools and good sockets. That can be accessed...
I have never seen wiring like that on a glow plug solenoid. How does the relay get power? Does that blue wire run to the wait light in the dash? What about the hot wire to the top of the solenoid? And has this been converted to 12 volt? Hot Rodding and modification may be able to assist. Good...
I never seen anything like that when I disconnected the bulkhead connector. That looks like the crown of a drilled out rivet head. I would just screw the fuse box back under the dash to the firewall and then attach the under hood connection. Tighten the set bolt and call it a day. I had many of...
Laugh we did have the bugle out. Hats were off. No 21 gun salute. No guns allowed in the work place. But I installed the hood and set it out for the viewing. I have a video of the crash. Odd thing is it happened in front of a business and I went and seen a camera. The reported cause was...
Nice. Now how much is the application gun? I could weld 25 holes shut and still be ahead of the game. I use technology everyday. Sometimes an old way is the least expensive and best way. You could cut the roof off at the 4 posts and put another nice roof on and just do the little bit of body...
