I agree 100% with Rusty. My 1945 MB in original condition meant I couldn't even sit in it without my butt hitting the pavement due to the rust holes/ nothingness where sheet metal used to be. So on went the MD Juan tub, with the saveable original parts, add some NOS or good take off parts...
All the US GI fuel cans have the same color strap as the can, either tan or field drab. There is no yellow or red or green straps for US GI issued cans.
The chillers were a Desert Storm "we need it NOW" type of acquisition at the time. Many of the water buffaloes in 1st BDE, 4ID had them, as 1/4th used to be 1st Bde, 2nd Armored Division, who went to DS.
Neat looking trailer, but if you have to load cargo on it, you better have a forklift... The Army should of kept some of the M105A3 trailers. At least they had a low cargo bed.
The modular command posts (11x11) are great tents AS LONG AS you take your time with the frame when putting it up and taking it down. Screw up the frame, and your done. I have one that I love, but I saw many of them get screwed up by soldiers who were rough on them. I like the modularity of...
