Hi, dave. A gentleman stoped over the other day when he saw the m35 in the front yard, and told me that i should attend the april meet. What are the dates and times?
I made two replacements this winter. Ripped down some old warped oak from the barn. Was to just get by for the winter so the snow doesn't collapse my cover. But the warping matched the originals close enough think i'll leave as is. I would look at a lumber yard for some warped lumber (probably...
Go to Napa or Carquest and get a can of chain&cable lube. Bellray or Clyco(used by the dirtbike/atv guys too) Comes in a aresol can. Goes on good and dries so it does not attract dirt or make a mess out of You. I use it on my drilling rig as it does not wash off as easily as motor/gear oil.
Sorry guys, one more thought: The Deuce already uses a hyd system for critical systems with an undersized resivoir, THE BRAKES.
No one says OMG we need complex mechanical linkages to each wheel.
And those lines are closer to harm than a steering clyinder would be. And yes there is a mechanical...
I would recomend a trial ride in both, If you can arrange to find some owners. You might find that one or the other is not what you expected. Might find a bobber is cool to look at, but you don't like driving it.
I only have two more useful opinions,
First: I have blown many hyd hoses in my time. They were all damaged from normal use ( bucket end of excavators/back-hoe's/dozers) These hoses drag in the dirt and rocks, catch on roots simply by where they need to be located) It is expected that those do...
This may not be popular: But I operate a fully hydrostatic rig, As compared to our older mechanical rigs. I put my life under loaded hydro systems daily. And i consider them safer than mechanical systems. Hoses just don't blow. They will be torn/frayed/smashed/swelled/ etc. but you will see...
Hi, I was looking for some opinions of our more learned members. I want to do the 395's on my Deuce but think the front needs a little lift. I like the ride that it has now ( springs maybe slightly sagged)
Now to the meat of the question: Lots of our heavy highway equipment uses lift blocks...
Looks great!! I like the thought of 395's on my 6x6 but think they look a little squatty. I was thinking of something in between stock and something like yours.
Thanks guys for the info: Opened up the door and found one of the clips at the bottom of the door. Wiggled and shook the window down and repaired/oiled. Works like new!!!!!!!
If you ever collect any wvo, save the nice 5 gallon containers they come in. Pass them out to your friends for wmo collection. You can even save enough to pass out to small shops. They pour easily, easy to handle, and even fit in the trunk of a car. ( I tell people to just drop them off when...
Hi, I just experienced some of the same surging you were experiencing. Found out it was the pump not putting out enough pressure/volume when the tank fuel level was getting low. It was fine when i filled it, but would start to surge at about 1/3 left in tank. I had a fuel pressure gauge in the...
Looks like root beer inside! Ibc's are those big 275 gallon plastic containers with the metal frame work around them.
If you have your top on the bed no one will be the wiser. You could build a 2x6 craddle to lay the drum down with a valve and hose threaded into the bottom bung and a vent...
I have one IBC container with mixed wmo/wvo and one IBC with just wvo. Both filtered and dewatered. I am currious of the long term storage of the different mixes.
