I had them off when i was trying to fill the wet tank.

In adition, if im stepping on the brake as truck is trying airing up i dont get the rush of air to the stack from the one cotton line in my pic.

I replace the treadle valve with a new aftermarket one. aired the truck up from shop hose... secondary gauge read 120 psi. primary read 0 psi. opened valve on the wet tank and still have air venting into line heading to air stack. now when wet tank fill i cant get over 70 psi on...

traced the cotton jacket hose back to the pedal...see pic.. upper right hose fitting...does this show the treadle valve is bad

I checked them all one at a time. no air. i then went to the three lines going into the stack. it was the large fuzzy line on the right it heads to the engine area..??

i replaced the q2 and quick release valves for good measure along with all of the brake diaphragms. figured i might as well...a few were cracked but nothing to bad. i sill have air escaping the stack and truck wont air up even with the shop compressor. could it be the treadle valve...how...

ken- do you have an NSN or napa # for the q2 valve in case thats the problem?

I replaced two leaking ball valves, rebuilt air dryer and put a new govenor in, but still no luck. when airing from shop i stll cant get past about 27psi and can now here air escaping the air filter intake stack. Any ideas??

the last couple time a started the truck, it took a long time to air up. The last time it would not air up past about 25 and now not at all. I soaped everthing i could with soap but no luck. i replace the governor and did a complete service/rebuild on the air dryer. Still would not air...
