Gimpys right, it doesn't matter how it happened. Read the tm's to get it right again. Its a good practice to get familiar with the whole system for future troubles...
If cash isn't an issue.... Get 2 red top optima batteries. They will last longer then the truck and will be worry free for 10 years or 2 900cca or bigger series 31 batteries will do the trick just fine... Check all the cables to ensure good contact. There's nothing worse then having your...
Ever consider on getting some canvas and some hog rings or staples at the fabric store...? Its cheap and easy to do yourself. No special skills required.... Very easy to do.
Welcome to steel soldiers... Its your truck. The possibilities are endless. Powder coat would look bad a$$. Its a lot of work to get them cleaned up the way you want. It might be less of a headache getting sandblasted then powdercoated but your right about that beating and banging if you do it...

Very vague, could be in between $1000 and $4500 depending on the condition. Good paint and body, in which alls you do is put in batteries and drive away is the $4500 range but if it has a "rats nest" and requires tons of work with a lot of rust. Would be in the $1000 range.
Welcome to steel soldiers.... M109A2 is what you mean and as long as its a clean title. It doesn't matter. If she signed it, then she needs to register it and wait for a clean title to hand over to you. As far as the peddle issue. The search engine is your best friend. There are plenty of...
