your basically doing what farm's have done for years on there tractors, point the exhaust forward much quieter but going it to the wind rain etc not good so now they mostly point them back 45° like you did no soot less noise just right.

ok just a note the just got through a big disagreement with TNJ Murray I orderd a part they told me part is X$ and shipping is $15 ok so I send a check the next day a month go'es by no part I call after 10 calls they just ship another one one week and they call where's the check I sent it two...

ok here's some number that might help Inner seal Front axle National oil seal#'s There is many seals that work here the difference is upgraded designs, but these #'s are all the same size. 450074,480074,410074. don't have the wheel bearing seal #'s. thanks to ken for these numbers.

when I did my pick ups front wheel bearings I used a dial gauge on the rotor then tightened untell no play was readable at top edge of the rotor.

junk yard maybe? they (cat 3408's) have inline line fuel injection pumps right? there usually cheaper to rebuild.

I'm ordering paint from alfa heaven so any info feel free to post, I think the painr with the fadeing quickly thing was the Aervoe.
