Short answer....NO. The FDC only tries to make the different fuels match power output by adjust fuel flow based on fuel viscosity. The engine itself is multi-fuel capable regardless of what you have done with the IP/FDC.
I don't see how it would qualify as historic as it is not meeting original manufacturer's specifications with one axle missing. If there isn't that requirement then you may have luck however.

If you have water in the system you master cylinder and/or air pack can be messed up as due to the moisture in them. Its also spelled brakes not breaks.
I had the same gauge combination in my truck. Nothing wrong with the truck, just the readout of the gauge is wrong. If you want to have correct readings just get a 0 - 60 gauge off ebay or somewhere.
They are different sizes. The bigger (thicker) of the 2 bearings go on the inside while the smaller one goes on the outside. I don't see how it would go together if you swapped them around.
Should be able to feel each injector with your hand and 1 or more of them will feel different than the other (clicking versus no clicking). If you had a laser thermometer you could shoot the exhaust manifold at each port and it will tell which piston isn't firing due to temp difference.
