Step one remove hook from wiper blade and old insert.
Step two cut plastic to remove from new insert.
Step thee mark and cut notch in new insert.
Step four reinstall hook on wiper blade.

I mounted mine to the center strip by drilling holes in the light. To everyone that disables the spring lock on the switch do you also disable the lock on the three lever light switch?
You might need to turn the pin with pliers because of the grove that has worn in it. But to me it sounds like spring pressure is holding it. So follow the above info.
