You can tow with a tow bar if the towed truck has bad brakes. What are you going to use for a towing vehicle?

Also, Just because something fits doesn't mean they are the same. There's alot of differences.

Codes are worthless. I've turned in stuff A4 and seen it later sell as F7. I've also seen people turn in good stuff but mark it as bad so they could get new upgraded replacement stuff that couldn't be ordered untill their old stuff went bad. I NEVER look at the codes.

Most of the mods I have seen will at best "deter" a thief. I would say anyone with a knowledge of these trucks could take it at will. A keyed ignition is easily bypassed. The kill cable locks can be bypassed by just opening the side cover and clipping the cable with a dikes and pushing the...

$30 with a 50% markup is $45 a can. As I said earlier Saturn Surplus has 200 NOS ones for $49 and that was 5 min of looking.

Just look on your local Craigslist, they are usually $10-30 and pop up often. Heck, NOS ones are less than $50 from Saturn.

The 427's are pretty rare. There are fording kits for them also. They bring the exhaust up beside the bed. (I have 2 of the kits)
