Basically make sure everything is adjusted correctly, not leaking, and fresh (filters, fuel, etc).

Change all fluids (all! Including fuel), filters, give it a tune up (out-of-tune parts will only add to the complexity of dealing with any issues that come up, so get that out of the way now), fresh battery, clean and check all connections/grounds for said battery, inspect all fuel and brake...

When are you planning on doing this? We've been getting a *lot* of snow/ice/bad weather on the west coast here lately....not a good time to attempt to cross the 3 or 4 mountain ranges between there and here....especially towing a trailer.

Glad nobody was hurt. If the frame shifted, any body shop with a frame straightener should be able to pull it back. Some of the body panels may need to be re-shimmed and aligned.

Pretty cool. I like the wind flap idea on the door seal. However, you can get fiberglass tops that bolt right on for pretty cheap...and they never rust. Not sure I'd go through the trouble of building my own, but that's me (I'm lazy like that).
