    Driving ?

Not true. It will fit in 1 spot... when you've got an opening across from where you want to park so you can maneuver in to the spot. With the winch it sticks out about a foot and a half in the front, but it isn't bad at all.

    Driving ?

You're in Texas... hopefully some of our TX members will chime in. Your best bet is to see if someone near you will give you a hands-on demo of the Deuce. Ride with them, and then give it a shot yourself.

    M35 Gear Shifting correct

It's a combination of both. I actually double-clutch the transfer case, too, in a manner of speaking. Just let the clutch out when the Xfer is in neutral, then clutch back in and pull it the rest of the way into High Range.

    M35 Gear Shifting correct

2LO 3LO 4LO 5LO Shift Xfer to High Double Clutch down into 4HI 5HI That's how I drive regularly, and that's how he did it. Just on a side note, I double-clutch everything, but that's just me.

    Truck got hit friday night.

File a police report. It's not wrong, it's not unfair, it's not because you don't trust him. It's JUST WHAT YOU DO. Always have a record.

    Bought two M37's today

Ethanol or whatever, if you let gas sit for a while, it ain't gonna work as well as it did before. Just grab a bottle of Sta-Bil and add that each time you fill up. One way to test your fuel pump vs. clogged fuel line is to hook your spare tank right up to the intake side of your fuel pump==>...

One Line Advice for First time MV owners.

Think like an 95-year-old when driving the deuce. Driving like a pissed off teenager kills a lot quicker with 13k lbs of steel than with a 1500lb import.

M37 fuel pump and carb problems

Disconnect the line from the tank to the pump at both ends and blow some air through there with your air compressor.

    My New toy

I must say, if there's ever a satisfying job to do on the M37, it's brakes. I replaced everything save the brake lines, and it feels sooo good to be able to lock 'em up without even having to pump the brakes!

    HD Video of my Deuce

Very nice... very nice indeed. Camera model/specs?

    backing up in low

I only backup in Low Range. Too much can go too wrong too quickly since there is rather limited visibility immediately aft of the truck.

Deuce a Casuality in Bangkok street fighting

It's just badly compressed from the original image file.

GA MVPA Spring Rally Cleveland/Helen GA 7-8 May 2010

Had a great time. Good to see some SteelSoldiers faces there... Clinto and GF, twright, JoeM62, SquirtTruck, and I know there were some more that I don't know their SS Handles for, so chime in if you went and what you were driving!

GA MVPA Spring Rally Cleveland/Helen GA 7-8 May 2010

Just went out and washed the windshield and windows on the deuce... we'll be rolling outta here tomorrow afternoon.

    What's wrong with this picture

Definitely check the parking brake- while it may not be the source of your smell, they seem to be sensitive to lack of or just plain maladjustment.

GA MVPA Spring Rally Cleveland/Helen GA 7-8 May 2010

While we can't do three nights, a cabin is only a few bucks more than a hotel, and it's closer, too, so I'm going to call and see if I can't get one tomorrow.

GA MVPA Spring Rally Cleveland/Helen GA 7-8 May 2010

I'm going to be going up Friday after lunch and staying at a Helen hotel, I figure that will be easier to manage than trying to leave at 5:00 AM Saturday and still have enough energy for the drive home that evening...

    "Do not park in gear"

If you park it in gear, just leave the engine stop cable out. Personally, I don't park mine in gear except for when I'm on the road and I have to park somewhere that is a bit of a grade.

new to deuce question about loading it

If I'm not mistaken there are pictures of Wreckerman with his Ford Ranger pickup in the back of one of his deuces... it can be done. Just need to be familiar with the deuce first, because that's some precious cargo you'll have back there. I think you'd be well off to try and load at a...
