Reviving this thread: has anyone actually USED one of these? I've been looking for a space heater for a tent for a while, this seems like it might work well, but I am naturally dubious until I can get a first-hand account. Anyone have any experience using one?

So under advice from another thread I finally broke down and emailed DLA. I sent them a quick note inquiring about the status of my EUC and the apparent delay (100 days tomorrow!) They came back with a request for some additional info, which I provided and then I recieved the following response...

I read a seperate post here on SS where DRMS advised the buyer that because of the irridium in the gauges trucks were being moved from demil B/Q to demil F, and the vehicles were requiring a seperate & additional clearance certificate. Hence the hold-up. I chatted with Jacinta at GL about it...

Good question, and to be honest I am not sure. He did mention though that there is a tow company immediately off base that has been very helpful in the past. Worst-case scenario I get them to drag it off-base for me.

Seems like brake problems are fairly common. Thats a little scary when considering it's a 14k lb missile going down the road with no way to stop.
