You cant go wrong buying one. I have a 931A1 and a 923A2. They look the same but one being a tractor the other a cargo but the big difference is the motors. The A2 has the new modern 8.3 cummins. Much much smoother. The A1 has the tried and tested 250 big block. No turbo but a real sump puller...
In any case it sounds bad. Could be the converter bleeding off presure. Could be the bands in the trans but normaly not all go at once unless its bad. Hows the trans oil smell? Burnt? color?
I drove my 931 from Holland over the alps back home to Italy and got good milage. I filled up when I left and had fuel to spare when I got home. I ran it 90 to 100 km per hour.
They are a bear to install correct. Use grease or tire soap to make sure the o ring does not get kniked. When you remove the old o ring ck to see it its kinked or folded.

The 923A2? Yes I have had it for about 3 weeks. I love the little cummins 8.3 over my 250 motor in the M931A1 I have. I have got some body issues to sort but I should be able to get it done. I have a few different types of MV's . Log on to my album page to see them.

I agree with you 100% I dont have power out lets close to my trucks. Many get started 3 times a year at best. I remove the batteries when I can or at least remove one cable.
