Chronicle of a tan M1101 trailer purchase from GovLiquidation.com

Good deal, no inspection. I have 3 or 4 different trailers that I don't have that nice government document, so I will probably have to get them inspected. The airborne equipment trailer I have had for probably 12 years now, guess I should get some paper on it for the reasons you stated.

Harley Davidson dealer MV sponsored event.

Will try to make it. Will most likely bring the ambulance as it is my best long distance driver, or haul up a jeep. Have to be away for work that week, so will be squeezing, but it should be fun. Do you have an address for the place for those of us that are not familiar with the area?

    wsucougarx's M923 acquisition

Looking very good. If your horn issue ends up being the solenoid, I may have one in my stuff pile. Great thread.

Chronicle of a tan M1101 trailer purchase from GovLiquidation.com

Take a look on the WSP website under inspections. They will tell you what you need. Usually a newly titled vehicle or trailer is going to need an inspection. For a trailer it should be fairly painless.

    PNW Info Thread!

Thank you for the offer. Since you mention it, I might be in need of a bit of help pitching a couple of tents. If I can get Friday off, may come up in the afternoon and set up, if not, early Saturday morn. Will keep you posted on this as the event comes closer. Peter

    PNW Info Thread!

Dale, I don't think you will have any problem. As for the layout, my guess is that that they will have the vehicles out side the baseball field perimeter fence or in the parking lot between the field and the old theater building. There should be plenty of room. I will bring a vehicle but am...

    PNW Info Thread!

Met a Marine on the way home from work today in Lacey. We got to talking and he hauled his family out this way from back east in an M35A2. He showed me camera phone pics and it looked to be a very nice truck. I told him about SS and he said that he had recently found it. So I suggested that...

Keep us posted on the rebuild. I am slammed at work for the next two weeks and will be unable to be of much help. Hopefully after that will go to a dull roar around the office. Just replaced the air compressor to air tank line on the 5 T. About 94 inches worth of braided stainless steel. I...

Amram, thank you for the great offer. I think there is an MV run to the Harley Dealership in Fife on April 21st. and on April 28th, there is a luncheon for the WW2 Battle of the Bulge guys. If you want to hang with some really neat folks that were there and did that, this is the crowd and...

Think I am missing part of this looping question, but if you are looking for trailer tie downs, go to someone that builds trailers, such as a welding shop. They will have a catalog and be able to get you just about whatever you want. If you were over here, I would send you to one of the RV...

Thanks for the look at the H2O question. Someone lent one last year, but they have moved away. the split rim wheels look cooler, but the other rims, look like M101 rims and they don't look bad to me.

Show your 24087 painted 5 tons!!!!

You guys put some beautiful trucks up here. I am not sure what paint job the 1968 M54A2 is going to get or retain. It was painted 3 color camo and appears to have been in Desert Storm with the 80th Ord. Bn. so now I am conflicted and thinking that I will leave it in its combat colors. on the...

Back to Jhigh's question about OFM airshow, on June 16-17. I think a few of the guys are wanting to go. You know how tight display and parking space is around there. Am trying to get with Terry to work see if we can work something out for SS folks. Also second call, does anyone have a water...
