The 40KW is overkill but it was had very cheaply including a Zenith automatic transfer switch. I can only consume about 12KW continuous max, but the starting loads are higher for the a/c's.
RE: Re: RE: Govliquidation Registered Letter
It would be interesting and advantageous for MV collectors to have a sanitized version of the letter posted publicly.
RE: Military radio
Oh yeah, that is dangerous junk and has a PCB capacitor, and radioactive meters in it. I'll help too. Wouldn't want anyone hurt.
The big 'un is a GRC-106A, capable of 400 watts from 2 to 30 MHz which is the HF ham bands. It draws about 40 amps when keyed at full power. It is...
Thanks! I have to recant on the model. Mine is older, a "WINPOWER G-1528-2A016-1 GENERATOR SET". It is obviously the same basic kind of machine and has the same engine type. My frame is tubular instead of rectangular and it has brushes in the generator unit. It was made in 1958. and has electric...
Not a military diesel, but my 40KW Mankato generator.. When the power frequenctly goes out, it automatically starts. Starts to consume diesel at 1.2 gallons per hour that is.
I have heard of diesels running on propane or natural gas, can canyone explain this and suggest how I might do it? I...
I bought a M105 trailer off a local and honest guy and I am 100% convinced all is legit, but he can't find the title. Years have passed. I had no problem registering it as an untitled trailer, but I can't register it as a HMV and run plateless with "bumper numbers" without a title. I been...
M139, do you have a good picture of that generator set, especially the control panel. I have one MEP-025 but it is not as shown in the TM 5–6115-323-14. The picture in there is an MEP-025A.. Mine works but a few things are loose, just trying to figure it out.
The webmaster of the Trailchasers jeep club in OK came up wth these suggestions:

Disney, Ok. may be an alternative but I'm not sure about the roll bar requirements. I think Hogans would be able to accommodate your vehicles. I'm not sure about getting a 6x6 on the trails though, most are...
is that chartruse color?? so maybe some wheel cylinders and seals and you will be ready to go. Brake fluid should not hurt things but it has to be cleaned off. If you can, try to flush out the system really good.
What was the last thing you went there for?
If it were entitled anything but "fall ATV rally" it wouldn't be so worrisome. Well maybe if you can call again later get aholt of the 'boss" (in China?!?!?) they might have some redeeming info.
Here are some resources.. but all require ROPS.. hmm...

Yeah, but I would do that anyway. I don't want to dodge little kiddies on ATVs and I seen pu-lenty of ATV accidents when a place like that gets crowded. They show off, ride too fast, and yes the 9 year old on the 400CC ATV will hurt you or run themselves under your truck possibly scratching the...
ACHTUNG !!
The D-Day park has scheduled some kind of ATV rally on September 28-30, the "Fall ATV Rally".
This does not bode well for us getting to any kind of power supply nor occupying in force any AO.
So will we be running over ATVs on the trails and having to post guards to keep sticky...
RE: how tight rear hub
I had the same issue. Although the brakes were adjusted per the book, there was just enough drag to heat that one drum and hub up, It was fixed by just a very tine back-off of the brakes on that wheel. So check your temps with a digital infrared thermometer, see where...
I described my application to AP Bloom and he said if I ever broke a selectro he would replace it (perhaps on account of their warranty or reputation). I pulled down a very robustly built house with the truck and in 1st low and the wheels were spinning all round, jerking, torquing, I broke a...
