    Pedal Stop Bumper Pad Installation

It has been documented more than once that there were pedals with extra notches and pedals without extra notches. In my research I have found many more with the extra notches. Seems that later contract trucks were sans notches.

    Our New Departmental MRAP

I would like to extend thanks to all the posters in this thread. Thanks for keeping personal beliefs and feelings at home and just posting comments and advice on the vehicle in question. Many times these informative threads crash and burn because folks want to voice their opinion instead of...

I wanted to replicate it but my mind is blank.

rear shocks for my M1028A3 Dually

The kits to convert the shelter carriers over to dual wheels did come with a sway bar. Some trucks have them, some do not. Don't know if the unit or depot that installed them may have just not installed them. Hence the use of a sway shock. Factory built dually 4x4's weren't offered with a...

**2013 Florida Military Vehicle Rally**Fall Event**

You have just enough kindling there to start a camp fire Roy. Tell Donna she needs much more wood and back logs.

Building my M101A2 into a Hunting, Camping, EXPO Trailer

What will you be pulling it with? I would kinda let that dictate on an axle swap. Having a common wheel and bolt pattern makes lots of sense. By the way, did the seller fill out a police report? You darned near stole that trailer from him/her.

help identify trailer I am looking at buying this weekend?

The Dodge should handle the heft of that trailer just fine. Looks good. If you shop around, you can find fiberglass slatted racks for it pretty cheap.

Winter is coming. Weather good enough to work outside!

    goose neck trailer hookup.

Dave, welcome to Steel Soldiers. Do a little seaching around. There have been a few folks to figure out how to step that voltage down as you requested. The voltage converter is a viable option but I think others have obtained similar results from different approaches at less expense. Are...

    Hearing Protection

I use Peltor Powercoms. These have a built in FRS and GMRS radio. They work good as an intercom between passengers and also links up with other vehicles close by (convoy or chase car).

    CUCV Do's & Dont's

Yes, I can see where it works well for you. A 24V plow pump would have been even better. The other advantage to an unmodified system is the depth of knowledge available here. 24V winches work great on these too. No problem agreeing to disagree.

    M1031 Welder/Generator Speed?????

Tom, M887 or SECM may have netted results. 99 percent of the trucks that had that bed were M1028s. I can see why M1031 got little help.

M925 A2 very disappointed in ability

Adding weight to the extreme back of the bed was not so much to improve traction but to counter the extreme weight on the 2 front tires. The ground pressure under the 2 front tires is immensely higher that the 4 rears. Think counter weight.

M715 (not telephone truck) Maintenance Truck

It is correctly referred to as a 6217. Few exist anymore. Great truck for the collection but not a great daily driver. Seeing one of these Al molded up would likely make me ill.

    Can I tow a M105A2 with a F150?

It is also a good candidate for an axle swap. A 6000# axle with brakes makes the trailer manageable albeit heavy.

    CUCV Do's & Dont's

Don't hack up the electrical system by trying to delete the 24V functionality. Contrary to popular opinion, you can't convert a CUCV to 12V, it already is. There is no finer source of electrical help than here. If you chop up the factory system, you will likely eliminate lots of help.

    Cucv in Iraq

Never say never! I learned that early in life.
