    Austin western manual-where?

I had the one for the M108. TM9-8023-5. Junkyard wars crusher now owns it. It too is priceless.

Considering a m1009 as a daily driver, advice?

Here's the funny part of CUCV electrics. The achille's heel of the CUCV family is the M1010 ambulance with the 200A charging system. m38inmaine and ChevyC60 came up with a system that is so brutally simple, I'm considering adapting it to my M1008. Here's the bottom line. Nowhere on the web...

help identify trailer I am looking at buying this weekend?

It is certainly an M105 trailer. It looks to be a solid candidate to work with as long as you can handle the weight. The 9' bed can come in real handy. There are many different jacks that can be used in the corners...

    Dumb Tire Question

5" difference in height as well. Also, don't confuse the 1400R20 with the 14.5R20. Majorly different tires.

looking to champher my rear a3 wheels so i dont have to flip hubs

In the end it's going to be a matter of preference. Look at the bulk of 5 tons with super singles. None have flipped hubs. The offset of the A3 wheels will not keep them in the same track when flipped but most 4x4s don't share the same track from front to rear anyways.

    Source for 1A08 parts?

The wheelbarrow compressor is about the only place I've seen them used. I think there was a 500 watt genset with one as well.

    Austin western manual-where?

Somebody walked away with the only known hardcopy of that, at the ga rally. Ron maybe.

    just bought a M1028a2 dually

Cool truck. Yours in an M1028A3. A2 has the 205 transfer case and the A3 has the 208. Either way, a cool find.

Considering a m1009 as a daily driver, advice?

It takes much more than a 6.2 to destroy a 400 Turbo. Honestly, I thought I've heard all the senseless rumors but the tranny one is new to me.

Wiring M101A2 to 7 spade on civilian vehicle

I missed that. OP, change your location to one of the states, not all the states. You agreed to this when you signed up!

    cucv losing power any ideas/help

2 weeks before the GA Rally I installed a new spin on filter on the M1010. On the way home, about 1200 miles into my 1500+ mile trip, the truck dropped to a max of 39 MPH. Exited highway and did the basics first. Swapped filter and sped home at 62 MPH. With no sock, you never know just how...

    Source for 1A08 parts?

Not too many 1A08 users here. 2A016 shares many parts and even 4A032 stuff. Other than Saturn, Army Surplus Whse has had some parts floating about. FLMV might be worth a try too.

    M1031 beacon lights

They didn't come with them so whatever the unit or motorpool added is what you have. Try to recover some numbers for the lights and do a little google searching. Have you put a meter up there to see what has/ hasn't got juice?
