That pic might be Tom's old truck but i remember it had dual exhaust pipes.
I want to find some additional headlights to add on. -lights like those on the fenders. I need more light at night, silly as it sounds.
black is usually unburnt fuel or running overfueled and usually means it's been turned up a little but maybe it came that way. Mine still won't do that even after turning it up a little. I don't think there is harm in it doing that when the throttle is blipped. What does it do for smoke at full...
Mine will be changed soon, and before I do, I will sample the oil via the convenient oil sampling valve on the oil filter base assy. and send it for analysis. Before changing it I am waiting for the prelube kit and the oil filter adapters kit. No rush, only 1800 miles on the current batch of oil.
RE: thanx
The -30 manual shows Test cable no.4 as being one of the 18 pin cables with a male plug. It plugs into the AM1780 as if it were a peripheral. It is told to be made by cutting an unserviceable CX-4723/VRC cable in half and using the 'good' half. The -20, does not give a parts list...
the heated filter is this one, the PuraDyn. The seller there on that page is merely an integrator or dealer. Here is a pic. of the inside of it and some discussions.

I guess a question would be, what transmission/clutch sets will fit in the space. Then pick from those. The transmission-transfer shaft can be shortened a little, but not too much. Anything else like moving things, swapping engines, etc, and it would become a major undertaking.
it would be interesting to place one mike at the front and one at the back, or maybe do a surround sound.. "and here's what it sounds like if you were sitting in the crankcase!!" in any case, a wide dynamic range would be needed.. When I was a kid I made a stethoscope mike out of a copper tube...
War is always a horror for someone. I am very saddened by that picture. At the MVPA con a specialist attached to the LAV told me he was doing physical security on a cable about a mile long and spotted a wire near it and was told to investigate. he found some kind of hooptie radio set lash-up at...
Check under the bed for rust. If the body has leaked via defects or rust at the top, the water gets in the walls and rots the wood, and then also gets under the floorboards and rusts the sheetmetal under them. I rejected several 109's upon seeing that.
Thanks for the report and the good detail including names, etc. I hope it all can be worked out and I agree (with your implication) that it will take some level of activity from many more members than usually care to participate in the inner workings. The foundation of the MVPA is apparently...
Honestly I can't answer or I would have. Mine has a small leak like 1 quart in 3000 miles so I have never found a need to tear it apart for that. besides, it keeps the underside of the truck from rusting.
no No NO!!! this is the rare French Canadian experimental electric MUTT and that is the extension cord! Ceezwhiz guys, don't yall know anything? It was very advanced for its time.
Thanks for the pics comment! Later I will post all 200+ of them on the bunker of doom, anyone can take them for reference if they wish.
I believe he was asking for $1200. It appeared to have all the cables and accoutrements including two RTTY modems. In the end, I was unable to rise early...
