    Brake Conversion

UUhhhh, yeah, well... With that set up, it makes it harder. What sort of trailer is that?

    Brake Conversion

The easiest thing to do is go buy a whole new axle that has electric brakes on it. Unbolt the old one, bolt on the new one.

RT-1439 manual operation.... need some help

I say again... Make sure the Function switch is in the LOAD (LD) setting before trying to program it. You can program the 5 single channel freq's thru the keyboard no problem To do crypto for Freq Hop, you need a crypto device with current crypto, so thats not going to happen.

    Reusing brake line fittings

Whats the cost of new fittings vs that pucker factor if an old one fails??????

    Looking at 923's

I'd go for an A1. No CTIS headaches, you still get the super singles, and the bigger engine.

    fit on a uhaul?

Richark, I guess Im not following you. When we would rail load (or airload) the HMMWV's, the chain binders did not run perpendicular to the shackle. They came off on angles going to the sides, and often a foot or so infront of the vehicle. I'll see if I can post a pic iof what Im talking...

    fit on a uhaul?

Why do you not want to put stress on the shackles? They are tie down points. When we would rail load the HMMWV's on bilevel railcars, we would put one chain to each of the shackles, and that made the RR guys happy. I have a similar trailer, a bit longer, but same setup. Works great for...

    M1101 and M1102 MWO's

Keep us posted with that you get. The cover is concealing the area that the MWO tags are supposed to be applied. Good luck.

Whats the -10 have to say about this?

    M1101 and M1102 MWO's

I just found this picture online, I can just make out the 3 MWO tags above the Shipping/Tiedown dataplate. This would indicate that all 3 MWO's were done on the THIS individual trailer. With seeing the 3 MWO's applied to this trailer, we must assume it is a 1994 contract trailer.

    M1102 Brake Lockout?

No, there is no provision for a lockout, but I have backed mine up alot, and never had the brakes lock up.. Seems the engineers figure that problem out with the brand/model surge brake they used.

    M1101 and M1102 MWO's

Whats the dataplate on the trailer itself say? Is the contract on the trailer one of the ones listed on the MWO? Does the trailer have any MWO plates on it? If there are, that MWO on the tag has been done. If no MWO tag, the MWO was not done, IF, I say again IF it applied to that contract #. If...

    fit on a uhaul?

HMMWVs are wide. Mine barely fits on my deck over trailer.

    M939/A1/A2 ABS vs. Non-ABS Trucks

Replacing/Upgrading troop seats in the Deuce

Wood racks, and I dont care what wood they are made out of, weight a ton. Sideboards by definition are a bulky PITA item to have to make/deal with. Fiberglass is the only way to go in my opinion, unless youre going for a year type "correct" build... Meaning fiberglass racks on a Vietnam deuce...

    M1102 Brake Lockout?

I will look and check mine this afternoon.

    M103a3 Prices???

A "clean" vehicle/trailer in my book means that the current owner has a title or SF-97 in THEIR name. No paperwork could be a sticky situation depending on the states DMV laws...

    Purging fuel system on multifuel

Make sure the intank pump works. check the pump/fuse. If not, it will be alot harder to get going.

    M101A2 Lugs & Brakes

The sideboards.... There are wood ones, and fiberglass ones. Depending on the mission on any particular day, the trailer may or may not of needed the sideboards/bows/canavas. In my motor pool we had a big pile of sideboards that we would grab if we needed them. If we didnt, we'd throw what...
