I would like to thank J.WADE for trying to do his best to help all of us get our paperwork/euc status and titling done in a quick, efficient manner. I'm sure that GP is not deliberately putting your euc on the back burner or behind someone else's. The man is doing all he can, lets give him a...
Agreed, if x-box sold a vehicle, both my sons would know every moving part-how much it cost-when it was made-etc.etc. I only hope that vehicles that my kids own will fix themselves, cause they don't even want to learn how to check the oil!

Lockjosh- Its 3''x4''x3/8 I am lucky cause there is a company about 4 miles from me called Ameri-trail and they build boat/landscape trailers. I have a buddy that works there and I can pick through their scrap pile. They also order all my metal for cheap. The tubing is the perfect width...
I would love to have you run me through your winch class- I wish I only lived closer. I'd even volunteer to haul 300ft of cable and hook-up to stuck vehicle. My experience with these winches is that when they are loaded/pulling the overload switch would pop, they just seemed to not have enough...

My driveshaft should be done tomorrow, so I can pick it up, weld up the rest of the rear, re-plumb rear air lines, reinstall bed, paint, and then bolt all exterior parts! Whew I am...
If your stuck up to the floorboards and loaded-- you will never have to worry about that winch pulling you out-- cause it wont! Nice work on the bumper, you are the Charlie Daniels of frame drillin'.
Yes- that's a good eye you have Iron, didn't notice that. I went with 5/8 plate steel. I made four plates, but I think I will only use two. My plan is to weld the three inch square block to the top of the axle, and then use one plate on each side on the bottom-- I went with a 3'' rise on the...
I made a flat plate with the four holes for leaf springs. I also used a three inch square block to go between the spring and axle assy. I'll post some pics. of it all tomorrow when I get back to the shop.
