My deuce is sitting there at the train museum already. I made some home-made bows for it and it's fairly lame, but alas...I don't have real ones yet. They are holding up the cover though. I may come pick it up after the event...or I may wait until some time next week to get it. I won't...

My experience is that diesels will have high oil pressure initially and once they heat up it drops quite a bit...my CAT does that and so does my deuce. Once my deuce heats up, she runs at 29/30 psi consistently at 2600 RPMs on the highway. I'm not concerned at all and my oil is visually...
I have always down-shifted each vehicle I owned that was manual. With the deuce I also down-shift, but am careful when doing so. I don't see any issue with using common sense when down-shifting. Most of the time I'll down-shift 4th and 3rd, but rarely do I go to 2nd...it's generally too slow at...
