    Brake issues on a M35A2

There's more than one possible cause.... Loosen the line - or tube nut where it screws into the eye-connector- on the WC. Then check again. Very true... for most of us. While others come here only for a while, to sell their vehicle(s ) or seeking quick advice/ responses and then never...

    5 ton lockout hubs

OK, back to the hubs, with a technical question: There are no springs of any kind to be seen in the pics. Maybe the OP can explain to us if these hubs use a screw-type, positive engagement mechanism to move the sliding clutch gear, or rather have some sort of springs also, to shift- and hold...

    Spicer 3053A shifting problems

Right so Tom and thanks...! Guess that's called a brain fart...:) Should have said: ... won't come out to the back, before removing the bearing retainer and snap ring - to the front..... of course!! And yes, only the #3052 input shaft can come out both ways, since the gear is smaller than the...

    Spicer 3053A shifting problems

... out, with transmission still installed - no way! You won't find such page; the input shaft only comes out to the front of gearbox, after removing the bearing retainer. G. Edit: See my post #50: Correction: #3053 input shaft comes out to the back, but only after removing bearing...

    Engine stand

I had the pleasure to first visit Steve in his shop in FL, and then a few years later, Jürgen in his place, in Germany...: Some of you may already know, but for the new folks let me tell you: these two, with their machines and skills - they are dangerous, at least!! Just imagine if they would...

    Engine stand

As usual Jürgen, great (art)work!![thumbzup] First thing that comes to mind: "overkill"... but then immediately followed by "peace of mind" ...!:-) Still remembering my thoughts and concerns years ago, while working on my first MF, on a so-declared extra-HD engine stand, this one not from...

Deuce Winch Issue - grinding under load

No Sir, no proof requested for anything... We all have other things to do - besides trying to help someone out who comes here posting about a mysterious problem with his winch. Your case was not what I would call a common, every-day issue, so it sparked my interest, at least. It just matters...

Threw a rod through my engine block.

That's cheap but then he would also have to find a flywheel ($200+) plus corresponding clutch kit ($400+) and make it all work, with the existing transmission. Cheapest & easiest solution: ... stay with the good old "Multi". G.
