BTW... I think we only have 2 members left on the road at this point. Clinto, who has got to be getting close I would think, and Westech who at last report was about 200 miles out, leaking diesel from the injector pump, and brakes getting weak (ie worn out I think). Cross your fingers for Westy!
We are packing up the hotel as I type, will be out of here shortly :driver:
Wish I had thought to grab a webcam at the house before I left..... with the Verizon Air Card, and my laptop mount in the deuce..... we could have a LIVE FEED!!!
The green serial is somewhere near the Ohio border...
Clinto, you missed all the REAL laughter. it was 03:00 when I finally couldnt take it anymore. The "Downhill Bill" adventure was just top notch!!! And ask gimpyrobb about his 'warm' welcome for Devilman :-)
All I know, is I am losing my voice this morning from laughing so hard for about 3...
Re: RE: Winch top plate installed.
Depends on how busted. If its broken right in half, you can have problems.... ie cable jumping the side of the spool and getting wedged.
My pump is just plain toast. The motor spins, makes alot of noise. The impeller just binds up. I have tried many things to make it work. Time for a replacement.
I have a Skyler for mine... http://www.steelsoldiers.com/index.php?module=pagesetter&func=viewpub&tid=6&pid=4
Unfortunately, Skyler doesnt make them anymore.
