I was wondering if the govoner was stuck somehow and holding the butterfly.

If I can get the engine to pull correctly on the road I will leave it alone. It runs great and always starts. Maybe the govoner is adjusted the wrong way? would this affect top speed?

I made a LED light bar for towing and it works with my 1008 and my 543 and my suberban or semi.I have various adaptors for it. It can be secured to the back of any vehicle or trailer. So it can be used for flat towing also. I think its very versatile.

I just got a freeze plug heater for my 1008, I have not installed it yet, maybe next week.

I took a stock deuce rivited rim and flipped the center on it. that puts it almost in the center of the wheel. then mounted the tires with smaller tubes and mounted on the front. on the back I removed both wheels and mounted the new tires on one of them then bolted it on the truck dished out...
