I agree and it just makes sense, running a multi over 2500 rpm is just abuseing the motor and one will end up with what they are doing to it...But it will last amazingly long very well built motors @2500rpm ...Randy

I also heard that, because of the fact they are known too run for ever at 2500rpm...and when I was looking for a motor a few years ago, i found one at a boat yard in LBI.NJ....apparently he also said they are popular with the mariners and thats why he bought them...Randy
