I'm thinking I need to look around for a good running transplant that hasn't been overhauled. Would be interesting to pull out the rebuild and tear it down to verify the specs of the bearings, bolt stretch, crank thrust and crank run out.
I can just feel all the positive vibs. oh well, at least I didn't purchase the deuce or pay extra because of the rebuild tag. It's all good till something comes loose.
Congrats on getting the tags. If I remembered correctly I had talked to my insurance agent a couple years back he said that most trailers don't carry insurance. They are covered by the towing vehicle. Kind of like your insurance covers rental vehicles up to your maximum policy amount on your...
Welcome to the addictions. There is no cure and we wouldn't take it if there was. Just take your time and figure what you would prefer in a truck. Don't forget that almost every option can be added at a later date by simply bolt on means.
Oh just what I needed to hear. Here's mine . And to top it off I have a 4 finger pressure plate that seems to be the kind that like to break the finger pivot point.

I am guessing that either one of the filters is not the correct filter ? If they are the correct ones maybe one is not aligned on the head mounting correctly restricting the flow. Maybe sucking air at one of the can gaskets. Does your engine have the clear fuel lines. Do you see any bubbles in...
The new guy also gets the honor of buying breakfast....
Welcome to the addiction brother Jim from another P.M. . A lot of great people here and a ton of information.
First off welcome to the site. There have been a bunch of trailers coming out of Meade which has kept the price down. When they go back to 2 or 3 at a time the price will go back up to what they are else where. You can also post ahead of time in Government Liquidation/DRMO/GSA » Need item...
Greg, I thought that might be the case but just couldn't find anything that explained it. Thank you for the info. Just wish I was closer to Florida. :(
Can someone enlighten me as to what a "Exchange Sale" is. I noticed on some GL lot's that there is a green box right above the red EUC box indicates
'"Exchange Sale: This lot is subject to specific Exchange Sale Terms & Conditions"
I have tried searching the GL forum and read through the...
