I only need to use it twice and I would rather borrow one than pay near $100 to use twice. I guess I'll see if Boyce has one I could use or rent cheap.
How about just using a keyed on/off switch to replace the battery switch? Not sure what it would need to be rated at, but it just controls the relays in the ignition protection box from off to on. I have been thinking about that as it would be much simpler than doing the actual ignition switch.
I just removed one from a M932A2 and put it on the front of a M923. That 1460# figure I would believe considering the sag it put on the back of the '75 F350 boom wrecker we saw.
