I have been driving by this truck for three years, was it made for the military or just bought off the shelf, so to speak.It says U.S. Navy on the side and has a registration #, no military type data plates in the cab that I could see.
38th Infantry is the Indiana National Guard, their web site lists a 2-238 Aviation Battalion in Shelbyville, Maybe they used to be an attack squadron at one time(ATS) and were later reorganized to a general aviation battalion.Call them up, they could probably tell you.
