Nice find there. Why is it that alot of these trucks in general have the side engine panels missing? The 246 I am looking at has both of em missing.
Does it run? What are your plans for it?
winch
I doubt it, depends on whether or not I get this M246 I am looking at buying. the guy that owns it is "thinking it over" now. If the deal falls through, I will let you know.
its over all ready, I lost out by $20 darn it, I should have posted up earlier. I didn't want to go all out cause I wasn't sure how to get them back here.
maybe next time
I just won a 5 ton winch at Ft Bragg NC and need it moved to Aztec NM. Anybody doing a cross country trip?
GL says it weighs 2500lbs, is that right for just the winch?
thanks
RE: What
I think devilman did it on his buildup of his deuce. Doesn't look to hard to do, just a couple of mounts and a diferent belt arrangement. Best of all you can add additional 12v stuff like a cigarette lighter for in cab stuff.
I don't have any experience with Broadway but could you contact Bob and see if he could get it titled for you? I haven't heard anything positive about Broadway but your milage may vary.
Will the deuce headlights fit on a M39 series 5 ton? I am talking about the bulb not the whole assembly.
If not, does anyone have a part number for the 5 ton headlight bulb?
thanks
