Wiring on my '52
Welcome, glad you decided to start posting now. My personal preference would be to do away with the metal shell connectors and go with the current set up for which parts are super easy to come by. I use Erik’s for this. Good luck. -
M1008 idling good but engine shut off driving.
The injection pump has a lot of plastic parts inside which do not have infinite life. Personally after 10 years after overhaul I expect the pump to leave me on the side of the road. -

No magic on HMMWVs. Start unplugging stuff until you isolate it. Likely culprit start box.. -

You are asking to grind the teeth off your flywheel or starter gear. Just sit there with your thumb over the alarm like the rest of us and monitor the gauges and listen for knocking. I am not trying to be a smart ass even though this post may come off that way. -

Looking for Info on LMTV antenna mounts
If you need 100 of these you will need to contact a fabricaator. Nobody will have that many. Determine the original manufacturer from the NSN data and see if they still have tooling to make more. These have been out of production since around 2005 when the cab went to armored.- NDT

M35A2 has been sitting for 40+ years…
It’s a 1970 model from the data plate. As long as it’s not rusted through all over I would not rule it out. Read the threads here, people have brand new wheel cylinders, axle seals etc fail on them so you are not escaping tons of maintenance by buying a running truck. -
How rare are M54s vs M35s?
In my opinion, there were 10 M35s for every one M54. Many more of the 5 ton fleet were tractors.- NDT

Brutally honest here: preexisting medical conditions and maintaining and operation of 2 1/2 ton trucks don’t go together. If anything you will get ADDITIONAL medical conditions. Suggest you downsize to a CUCV Blazer. Speed you want along with power steering. -

When the bearing halves are that bad, you can be almost 100% certain the crank needs to be turned. -

You will need to inspect all the bearings. Suggest you use plastigauge. -
Tall cargo cover
LMTV covers have the sides split down the middle as a front and rear flap on both sides. So it’s not that. -
