It's a '63 Ford 1 ton 4X4 short bed. Dodge couldn't keep up with the military demand on the Power Wagon so Ford helped meet demand. The Navy got the Fords.

The 427 is an overgrown paperweight. You'll need a LDT465-1C, LDT465-1D, or a LDS465 to replace the engine you have. My personal favorite is the LDS series because it's got the most bang for the engine. The 427 just gets in its own way and can't find a torque curve to save it's life...
