Open truck space from Cincinnati OH to St. Augustine Florida

I think Gimpy has some Florida clients with some stuff stored at my place. :-)

Official '15 Ga. Rally Info thread

This is actually the date others wanted. I didn't think it was that bad last year but I like the heat as I get old. :-(

Official '15 Ga. Rally Info thread

As a final thought on what Clinto has posted. I appreciate him starting this rally. After having the honor of being the CO for the 2014 rally I never let up on him getting the changes made and in place for this year's event. Safety, liability insurance and the LCC were points I brought up to...

    M818 Transfer Case Upgrade T-138 to T-1138

Thank you for the thread Patrick. Lots of room under my 813 but it probably isn't in my budget. I haven't had a custom drive shaft made in 43 years. :-)

Words from the CO Obey all the Durhamtown rules for proper operation of any and all vehicles on their property. There is no operating dirt bikes, quads or UTVs on the paved roads. You must always wear the proper helmet while riding outside the compound. Get caught without one and they will...

    Deuce dash cluster

Yes, they had a bunch of trucks they just cut the dashes out of so the MV collector wouldn't die in 478 years from radiation poisoning. I feel much safer now.

    Pre-Oiler

Or a Cummins 250 alternator or a fan. Water pump maybe and though it is arguably more important than the first two they only used one belt. Doh!!

    Pre-Oiler

I feel the same way about pre-lubing a 45 year old engine as the way I do about the magical matched belts. Not worth the time, effort or cost.

Carnac is on the way east-4.16.2015

CARNAC, that must have been one heck of a bump to break a serpentine belt.

    Hello from Interior Alaska

Funny, I took my 813 to a birthday dinner yesterday and one of the neighbors came out to talk about it and said he was from Alaska and wanted to get one to take back with him. :-)

    Headlight problem

Yes, if you power to the assembly when you first turn it on then the problem is inside the light itself. I never looked that close at mine but I don't think they are serviceable. This morning I drove my XM813 to work in the dark with the new LEDs. I could finally see... ;-)
