Im all for it, but states change their laws often, and I dont think anyone can keep up with it. I'd simpliy post a link to the states DMV website.. Those are the experts whos opinions are the only ones that matter.

Sounds like your all set. Let me know if you need pics of the MIL to civy adapter for the wiring end of things. I like to keep all my stuff as stock as possible, or easily changed back to stock if I modify it.

What dont you want to use the tube tires?

The CDN M101 uses the same tires/rims the ILTIS does. One place is here: www.iltis4x4.com/ or http://www.informatiquebridge.com/iltis/index.html I've never dealt with them. I'd check to make sure the hole patterns would line up first to the M416 hubs. I dont know if CDN tires will fit the M416...

M416's are long out of the system, so I'd be all for turning it into DRMO to clear it off the Property Book. However, for fixing it, this is what I do for all my "new to me" trailers: check/service bearings check/redo the lights/wiring/reflectors sandblast/paint job if needed replace shocks...

That is called a MSL. Military Shipping Label. Every piece of rolling stock gets one so it can be tracked when being shipped.

HMMWV parts are sold thru GL. But you wont see a complete HMMWV thru GL like you do with CUCV's/M800/M35 series... I know what Boneyards are... Officially called Canibalization Points.

No HMMWV will ever be sold thru DRMO/GL. The DEMIL for it is total destruction. There were a few that got out a while back, thats all that will get out legally.
