Jerry, make sure you have the support strap on the 'back' end of the starter. Also, you dont need to totally remove the tranny and tcase. get a couple of real long bolts to replace a couple bell housing bolts with. You can slide the tranny back on them, keeping it lined up.

Matter of fact, try really hard for spot M15, as it borders one of our members, and he might have a little bit of spare space.... (plus its close to the display)
Well, I was thinking that its nice to see the difference between a surplus/parts dealer (usually carrying NOS, or 'inventoried' parts) vs a salvage yard that you have to trudge through with tools to get hwat you want.
