There is a big gapping hole between the inner fenders - cannot find anything on the bench or floor to find out what goes in there 8-)
Got the front brakes done on the wife's jeep - tinkered around with some little things.
That big missing thing should be getting back to the DZ pretty soon -...
Now THAT is a great paint job and very well thought out.
Nothing takes your eye and centers focus on anything - it just flows perfectly.
All I can say for whatever it is worth - is WOW - you should be proud.

I rememebr heading into a strip club with our biker gang outta Mich - we were stuffing fake monopoly money in the - ahhhh you get the idea.
The bouncers came over after a couple of the strippers complained - and the bouncers were kicking us out
We just told em - well - almost everything we see...
I have one - but after swapping several wire brush heads on the high speed - it turned out easier.
Imaging this - the first step was to burn all the old paint off - there were still (after trying to count them) 7 more coats that would not burn off.
The high speed grinder (air) with 60 grit...
Got the fuel tank area repaired - should be able to mount tomorrow.
Got all the brakes tore down and shocks today.
DO I look bored or what - dang Zout 2 popped in on a recon mission to supply needed liquid refreshments - dang head already spinning and add to the spin a little more :jumpin...
I use that 3M stuff twice a year on my 96 Stratus Headlight lenses - over 280,000 miles on er and it cleans them right up.
We also use it here at work on the Volvo VNL64T tractor headlight lenses - plastic as well. Beats buying new ones at over $200 a pop.

Last I knew of it - it needed to be hauled to the DZ and gave GE some info that might be able to help him - but from that point to now seeing the end results - HOLY CRAP GE that trailer is disgustingly AWESOME.

MaMa Zout still pretty sick so she spent time playing with the upholsterting for the seats/material tonight and I will help her hot wire the foam.
Spent some time after working on the jeeps for Jobs.com (no not out of a job)
Got all the wheels pulled and one tire broke down and rim cleaned...
stand down troopers - no pics
laid the tank in after getting the entire jeep up on stands so I can get the wheels off and paint removed before sending them off to powder coating.
The floor pan for the tank was a guess by golly - backside where the seat mounts to the floor is 1/2 inch off...

Stolen - 1 tank from in front of Vets Hall over the weekend - thief now in prison. His brother is now trying to sell the tank before the Vet Hall can accumulate funds to haul it back.
