If you can stay in one lane there is some thing wrong with your truck. Mine will run down the road just fine at 55-60. Even when the right front tire blew out it was still easy to drive and control.

I got a set or two off ebay alast year. They looked like he made them or had them made. I.E. truned down a bigger bolt too the right size. He may of had to get a bunch done and sold the rest?. Have you tryed mephis by chance?

There was a thread some time back that had a link to a off the shelf adapter for doing just this. You just plug the military plug in one end and a civi plug was on the other end.

Isn't the front end a little over loaded all ready on the deuce? There was talk some where that with the multi and winch the front end or tires were near the load limit. 1/2" plate and 3/8' wall tube is going to add a lot of lbs.

The deuce does not use a "Hydravac". vac= vacuum, the deuce uses presure. Does the map box door fit another truck? like a M37 or m715?? Or is TACOM just useing the wrong wording??

There is another thead that list the part nuber for the plug and where to get them. They are NOT cheap. Some thing like $100-200.

If I remember right you should not run the cable out under power as this will eat/burn up the brake per the TM.

AMC owned AM General. And I have a 70or 71 that has a REO data plate on it. You can not go by the name on the data plate.

There is a adapter to make these spin on type filters I think Satern has them. Mine has it to and has a plain old PH-?? filter on it.

One of my M35's came with a LDS pump. I thought it ran good until I got my M109 with the FDC bypassed. Unless they detuned it, the LDS pump didn't make any more power at all. But that is just my case other may have seen diferent.

That plate is like a plug with the "O" ring on it. Thats why its hard to get out. If I remeber right.

I took mine apart and put a new "O" in it. That stoped the leak. Some one else on here did a theard on it and listed the number/size of the "O" ring.

2qt over cold is about right. As far as towing: I towed a m818 with a m818 pice of cake.:-D Now every one of my m35's I've tried to more with a tow bar has been a pain in the a . The front wheel trun the wong way and fight me. But this may just be may bad luck:evil: just some thing to think...
